Dear Husky families,

We had a great day with the Huskies today as a full community.  The grade 6 Huskies are enjoying having lockers, their own noon hour, as well as the playground to themselves this year.  The grade 7 and 8 Huskies eat in the cafeteria while the grade 6 students are outdoors, and the routine went very well today with lots of room for everyone.

Here are a couple of dates to mark in your calendar:

• The cafeteria start date is Monday, Sept. 11
  • Orders can be placed through Nutri Slice in the evening for the next school day. Information to register for the online orders can be found on our school website at:

• The Husky Homecoming event will take place on September 21 and more information will be shared about the evening event next week
• Picture day will take place on September 26
• Soccer tryouts will begin next week for both the girls and boys teams

Please remember that students need to sign in if they are late and sign out at the office if they are being picked up early.

Our school community has welcomed 54 new registrations since we opened, and we thank you for your support as we continue to grow.  

It is going to be a very hot day tomorrow so please remind your child to stay hydrated throughout the school day.
