The long weekend is here, and our staff wish you an enjoyable break with your family and friends.

Here are a few updates and reminders to end off the week:

  • Today is Report Card Day!  Report cards will be handed out at the end of the day today. Please ask your child about their learning and achievement for this term.
  • Oral Proficiency Interviews will begin at Maplehurst today.  Over the next two months, all students in French Immersion will be interviewed as well as the students who were assessed in the fall. 
  • Schools are closed tomorrow, Friday, April 7 and on Monday, April 10 for the holiday.
  • Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next Thursday evening virtually through MS Teams and in person Friday morning. All interviews will be by appointment only, using the links below.

  • There is no school for students on Friday, April 14
  • Next Tuesday, our schedule will tumble.  Please ask your child how that impacts their day.
  • Thank you to those who attended the focus groups and those who responded to the Language Learning Opportunities survey.  A report on the feedback is being prepared and information will be shared with the school community when it has been completed.
  • A grade 7 and 8 dance is being planned for Wednesday, April 26
  • Year End celebration planning will begin soon:
    • Information concerning the year end celebrations are being organized by grade level teams and will be shared as we get closer to June.
    • A grade 8 semi formal dance will be held at the school in June (date to be confirmed)
